Dromma has a simple structure and is constructed of 3 foam layers wrapped up in a removable cover. It’s made of a panel fabric that is 99% polyester and 1% lycra. • Top Layer – The first layer is the one that’s in charge of the bed’s overall comfort. It’s made of 1.5″ Dromma Flow Latex, which is a blend of natural and synthetic Dunlop latex. It also has holes pinched within it for increased ventilation. As a consequence of the excellent airflow, your mattress will decrease the heat retention, and you will be able to have a cool sleeping night. Latex as a material is very durable also, and you can be assured that it will be long-lasting.
• Middle Layer – Underneath the mighty Latex is the 2.5” thick Preserve VG Visco Elastic Gel foam. This layer is another comfort layer, and it’s quite dense so you can expect Dromma to be durable. It also adds to the overall coolness, and it relieves the pressure points. It can readily conform to any body type and provides excellent contour for the neck, the back, and the hips.
• Foundational Layer – The base is made of 8” thick polyfoam. This layer is high-dense, and it provides the support of the Dromma. It’s also in charge of its overall shape, stability, and durability.

Firmness Level

The bed’s firmness is a subjective feel. It feels different to different sleepers. It depends on the body’s shape and the sleeping preferences. The heavier the sleeper is, the firmer the mattress should be to provide more significant support.

Also, because of their weight, they will tend to sink in more than they are supposed to if they choose a softer version. Dromma is tailored to fit a wide range of sleepers and therefore, we reviewed it in detail and gathered other people’s opinions, and we came to the final score of its firmness.

Scoring 6.5 out of 10, we can safely say that the mattress is of a medium firm level. As such, it can fit different body types, and it’s suitable for side sleepers. The top layer is very plush and sophisticated, and it can provide the sleepers with the required level of softness and pressure relief in the hips. However, it is also suitable for back and stomach sleepers, and it’ll keep their body aligned by lowering the pressure in the back and shoulders.

Cooling (What You Should Know)

In general, foam beds tend to retain more heat than innersprings. Even though we all want to get cozy with a soft and warm blanket, after a few hours that state does not feel that comfortable. Many of us want to have a cool night of sleep and therefore, a suitable mattress that will enable that.

The top layer is adapted to increase the airflow, and as a consequence, it will improve the distribution of the heat. It’s not the best mattress at keeping you cool at night, but it will probably offer you a suitable sleeping surface.

Edge Support

If you tend to spend a lot of time sitting on the edge of the mattress, then the edge support is quite significant. Also, if you manage to lie near the edges, you want to make sure that you won’t roll out of it. When sitting on the edge of Dromma there is a noticeable compression, but that’s quite normal for an all-foam.

However, when you reach the support layer, the compression is smaller, and you will get the support that you need. In overall, Dromma provides decent edge support, while the support on the surface is significantly better.
